Here is where you will find some of the League Histories of ELELCTRIC FOOTBALL – EFL’s (Electric Football Leagues and MFL’s (Miniature Football Leagues).

In the history of the game and hobby, there have existed, and still exist, many multi-player leagues. Prior to the creation of the MFCA, EFL was the primary acronym for an ELECTRIC FOOTBALL League. But when the MFCA (Miniature Football Coaches Association) was created in 2007, MFL or MINIATURE FOOTBALL League became a very popular designation for these organizations
There is no record that I have been able to find as to when the first League was created, but more than likely it probably was not long after the game was first created and introduced in 1949. It was probably a kid’s neighborhood league and probably came to be not long after Tudor introduced their line of NFL ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Games, and NFL Teams. Collecting and trading these teams became more popular among the game and hobby’s enthusiast.
One such league is the Long Island Electric Football League. According to its official history, it was originally formed in 1972.

I have been able to acquire a few more league histories in the last several years and have saved them in the museum’s library and archives. I hope to be adding them to this page in the near future.
If you are formerly or currently an organizer of any of these leagues, please contact us.
Help us to preserve these histories and fulfil our mission!!
