Tudor Metal Products, Corp. was originally founded and owned by Elmer Sas (the father of electric football inventor Norman Sas) who created the company in 1928. One of the products that Tudor produced and sold was this Home Budget Bank.
In their book “The Unforgettable Buzz” authors Earl Shores and Roddy Gargia reference this statement by electric football inventor Norman Sas in his MIT senior thesis titled “Characteristics and Problems of the Toy Manufacturer”.
