The NEFGM Hall of Fame

Welcome to the NEFGM Hall of Fame. This is where we will honor those people and things that have made the most impact on the game and hobby of ELECTRIC FOOTBALL.

This Hall of Fame will honor only those people who have made contributions as the innovators and artists and those things that have become icons of the game and hobby.

INNOVATORS

A person who introduces new methods, ideas, or products.

In ELECTRIC FOOTBALL that would be the persons who have been the creators and inventors of the games and products used to play the games, the persons who have created the methods of playing the game and the new ideas for promoting the game and hobby.

ARTISTS

A person who creates art.

In ELECTRIC FOOTBALL that would be the persons who are the sculptors and 3D designers of the figures, the persons who are the painters of the figures and teams and the persons who are the artist that use electric football items to create works of art.

ICONS

A thing regarded as a representative symbol.

In ELECTRIC FOOTBALL that would be the things that are the most representative symbols of the game and hobby such as Game Sets, Teams and Figures.

We are currently in the process of forming a nomination committee for the task of setting the criteria for each area, reviewing nominations, and forwarding their recommendations on to a selection committee who will make the final selections for induction into the NEFGM Hall of Fame.

Anyone who has an interest in the game and hobby may make a nomination regardless of your level of interest and participation in the game and hobby. But please take this process serious and don’t make a joke of it.

We realize that the game has not always had a positive impact on everyone who maybe got the game as a child and does not have fond memories of it. It has often been referred to as “the worst game ever” or that game where the players “just run around in circles” and to those people I can only say “I am sorry you had such a bad experience with it.”

But for a large group of people it was “the greatest game ever invented” and evokes many happy memories and has led to a revitalization of the game and hobby that many thousands of people still enjoy today.

To start the process off I am making available an NEFGM Hall of Fame Nomination Form that may be filled out and forwarded to the NEFGM.
