The Passing of a Legend

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of a legend in the ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Community on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Big Keith Chalmers aka “Salty”

The following was a tribute written by Kenneth Allen:

“Keith was the greatest tactician to ever play the game. A great teacher, Keith passed his knowledge of the game down to his sons Robert and William as he spearheaded the “Royal Family” of National Championships.

The Chalmers family, led by Keith, boasts the only father/son combination to win individual National Championships.

Known to many as “Salty” for his fierce competitiveness, Keith always found the time to provide pointers win or lose. On the field he was Dale Earnhardt; Intimidating and larger than life. Off the field he was the most supportive person, in any instance, that you could ever find on this planet and arguably the Greatest that ever played the game.”

I personally had the pleasure of competing against Keith on many occasions. He was a very good friend to myself and many others. He will be sorely missed.
