The National ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Game Museum is my contribution to the game and hobby that I hope will be around for a long time to come.

When I started this journey in the summer of 2019, just prior to my retiring as a museum exhibit fabricator and installer (at the age of 62), my vision and goal was to eventually open and operate an actual physical building and location open to the public complete with a vintage electric football game gallery, an electric football art gallery, an electric football library, archive and research center, a retail store operation and, of course a game room where people can come and experience playing the game. I gave myself 5 years to accomplish this. Museum Conceptual Layout, Gallery Concepts.

Unfortunately, that time has passed and is quickly beginning to fade. In the coming months of 2026 (March to be exact) I will be turning 69 and beginning my 70th year of existence on this planet and trip around the sun.
I have been successful with coordinating and curating a couple of public displays of “The Art and History of Electric Football” through my “Art of the Buzz” Exhibitions. Check out that portion of our website by visiting the “Art of the Buzz” page.
In the last few months of 2025, I have been remodeling my “home office” of the Museum located in Spring Hill, TN. That is where the temporary physical location of the “Museum” is located, also. This is my private home residence and as such is not open to the public. However, if you are ever in the Nashville, TN area we can schedule a private showing of the Museum’s collection of Vintage Game boards and EF memorabilia upon request. I would suggest calling, sending a message or emailing first to make sure I am here. I am here most days and evenings but do have other life appointments and commitments.

I am not giving up hope just yet, but the financial resources to completely achieve this goal and vision just is not there. The lack of interest and investment from local Community and Business leaders for an attraction of this type and support from the ELELCTRIC FOOTBALL Community itself has been very disappointing. However, I still have a few years left before I totally give up on this idea. At this point, I think the best I can hope for is to reach out to other museums and pursue the possibility of making it a part of their collections of vintage toys and games.
In the meantime, I do plan on upgrading the nefgm.org website and making it the world’s one and only greatest and best virtual museum dedicated to greatest game and hobby ever.
Thank you,
Chris LeMay, Founder and Curator, The National ELELCTRIC FOOTBALL Game Museum.
