LEAGUE and TOURNAMENT History

There are many ELECTRIC FOOTBALL Leagues and Tournaments that have existed and currently exist in the world of ELECTRIC FOOTBALL. It is in our Purpose and Mission to preserve these histories. This includes the histories not only of fully organized multi-player league and tournament competitions but also those of the many independent one player solitaire leagues.

We have been very fortunate, through donations, to acquire several histories of some of the more well-known leagues and tournaments that have existed. One being the DeepSouth Miniature Football League (DSMFL).

Several years ago, David Nickles, the driving force behind this league for many years, was gracious enough to donate to the museum some VHS Tapes that documented the early histories of this league and the tournament that they started, the BAMA BLAST which was once a part of the Tournament of Champions (TOC) series of tournaments and still continues as the River City Blast.

We had this collection of VHS tapes converted to DVD’s and they are now a permanent part of the NEFGM Library which you can also view on our YouTube Channel.

I do spend a lot of time searching the internet for as much information as I can possibly find on the many histories of these leagues and tournaments, but it is a task that I find very overwhelming and almost impossible to uncover everything that I feel is available.

And that is where you can help.

If you are formerly or currently an organizer of any league or tournament please contact us.

Help us to preserve these histories and fulfil our mission!!
