As we end our 42nd. season, which because of the pandemic has been longest ever ( we started in October ). It’s not that our league has never faced adversity before but this was the biggest challenge in our league history.
Somehow as we have for all these years we held it together, it was not easy, only the dedication of all 8 league members saved the season. People always ask me how we have managed to keep the CEFL going…like I said in the last sentence “dedication”. The love of the game and our friendships have helpd mold that dedication but there is something else, the many great folks outside of our league who also love the hobby and game.Weather it be the many vendors big and small, the guys who organize tournaments or the members of the MFCA all of you have indirectly influenced and kept our league strong. The CEFL’s longevity might not be what it is if it weren’t for the contributions of all those mentioned above. For anything to last as long as our league is certainly amazing and in truth it was the work of many people that made it so. Thank you all and keep on playing, keep on teaching and keep on creating to keep the game we all love alive and well.
I also found this video on YouTube.
Finally found a link to the documentary featuring the “Subterranean Stadium”, in my opinion, the best feature ever on electric football.
